Tip Top Factory Trip

Reflection W.A.L.T write a recount using descriptive words. I found it tricky to use descriptive words. Next time I am going to look in the word bank and dictionary to find more descriptive words.I used interesting words and adjectives.

Speech

My Reflection: I was learning to write,a plan and present a persuasive speech. I think I achieved my success criteria because I did some research and found some facts to back up my reasons. Next time I write or present a speech I will need to work on having more persuasive language. I think I did well at writing my speech.

Guest For Dinner Play

Reflection I was learning to read clearly to an audience with fluency and expression. I was successful at this by talking loud.I need to improve on my expression and talking clearly. My next steps are to use more expression.

Telling Time

 Reflection
 I was learning to express time on a analogous clock, digital clock, and words. In this activity I had to tell the time. I think I have achieved this activity because I know how to read the time. I got help from the teacher because I did not know the last question. My next steps in learning time are to learn 24 hour time.

Splitting Numbers to make multiplication easier

Reflection I was learning to use Place Value to solve Multiplication problem. I found it easy to work the problem out. Next time I could work out problems with  bigger numbers.

Make and justifying inferences

Reflection I was learning to make and justify simply inference. I found it hard because it was hard to justify my answers from the text. I learnt that a mice can get 5 or 7 babies. I need to keep working on this.

Tapa Cloth

Reflection
I was learning about Tapa cloth. I used shell and flower design. I use repeated patterns and 3 brown dye  3 black vivid and 3 brown paper . I learnt that the tapa cloth was made by a tree called mulberry tree. I enjoyed to draw the tapa cloth. Next time I will make it neater.

Reflection I was learning to answer a range of comprehension questions. I found it easy because the book told you the answers. Next time I have to work faster.

Hockey Skills

My Reflection
I am learning to do hokey skills. I learnt how to juggle with a hockey stick. I thought that Hockey skills was hard.

A Moment In Time

Reflection I was learning to use strategies to add more detail to my writing. In this activity I had to use describing words using my senses. I found It hard to think about sentences with taste. I would like to do this activity again so I can get better at using my senses for my writing.

Addition and Subtraction

Reflection I found it easy because I knew my place values.

Rio Olympics Comprehension Questions

Reflection I am learning to answer a range of comprehension questions. I learnt that there were 28 games in the Olympic. I need to work on answering the questions properly.

Measurement

Reflection I was learning to measure my body parts in metres and centimetres. I found it easy because mine and my buddy's height was the same size. It was tricky to measure the length of my arms.

Acrostic Poem

Reflection I was learning to write an Acrostic Poem. I found it easy because I'm really good at writing acrostic poems. I have used some interesting adjectives. I have to work on my sentences so that they make sense when I read them. I need to add more interesting words. Next I need to make sure I have different words and adjectives in each sentence and I have to look in the s.c so I can achieve my learning.

Making multiplication easier by splitting numbers

Reflection It was easy to split hard numbers to make it easier. I found the last one hard to split.

Recount of Inquiry Launch

Reflection I was learning to write a recount about our Inquiry Launch using paragraphs. I was able to put each new idea in a new paragraph. I need to work on a good introduction and conclusion paragraph.

I was learning to design a visually attractive and clear representation of my Pepeha that reflects my learning pathway.  The most challenging thing was to fill in all the spaces when I was colouring in.

Reflection I am learning to do a recount from my weekend using interesting words to start my sentences. I found it hard because I found the adjectives tricky.
